I was kind of disappointed with this movie, mainly because I'm such a fan of Paul Bartel. After Eating Raoul and Death Race 2000 I was ready for his raunchy western comedy, but unfortunately it just wasn't all that funny. I had a few laughs here and there, but I got pretty bored with the story pretty quickly. And even the cast didn't help as much as it should have, which included Geoffrey Lewis and the guy who played The Joker on the Batman show in the 60's.
The best thing about it was of course....the always elegant Divine. She's her usual charming self, potty mouth and all. She had some funny one-liners and is constantly falling off horses, and she does have a cool song and dance performance in a saloon though, which is a must if you're going to have Divine in your western comedy. I think she was actually nominated for a Razzie though haha.
BOTTOM LINE: It was ok. Divine is just as charming as ever and provided the most laughs for me, but overall the movie just wasn't that funny. Not a horrible movie, but not one of Bartel's best.

Pink Flamingoes is still Divine's best film.
