Extravaganza, Day 18, part 2 (Based on a True Story): As a bonus viewing after watching the original "The Town That Dreaded Sundown", I decided to watch the 2014 sequel also titled "The Town That Dreaded Sundown". This one is interesting in a way that the former exists and is being shown and referred to within the latter's storyline. However, as opposed to the original film, this sequel drops the docudrama storytelling and adopts a more conventional slasher form. I was fine with that and liked the movie almost equally. The story was good but a twist near the end was a let down though. The film is shot nicely and looks great but, occasionally, there were too many quick cuts in a row and I didn't know where I was anymore. Anyway, I had a good time with this one.

A great month of Horror ahead of you. Bram Stoker’s Dracula is a good one. The Town that Dreaded Sundown (1976) i would like check out.

The Town that Dreaded Sundown-1976 takes a nicely different approach. The Mutilator and The Haunted World of El Superbeasto are under-appreciated and under-watched. Society and Cannibal Ferox are pretty damn hardcore horror, and they complement well with your lighter fare such as Witchboard and Salem's Lot.
As you know, you really selected well. This is an outstanding agenda of entertainment.
