Earlier tonight I watched this film called "Afterwards", from french director Gilles Bourdos. It was adapted from a french novel called "Et Après..." by Guillaume Musso. The only reason I picked it up from the 3$ pre-owned DVD bin originally is because it stars Evangeline Lilly. It also stars John Malkovich and french actor Romain Duris. You could describe it as a drama with surnatural elements. It is not a bad film but there is nothing exceptional about it. There are some tragic moments that can get to you and it is nicely shot. John Malkovich is great as the mysterious doctor. Romain Duris is the lead as Nathan and he does a good job. Evangeline Lilly plays his ex-wife. She has a small supporting role but makes most of it. She's terribly good looking as always plus she speaks a line of french with her accent, the sexiest I've ever heard by the way!
