I saw a band this weekend called Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, in which Joey Cape from Lagwagon and Fat Mike from NOFX play (unfortunately, Fat Mike was absent so Eric Melvin also from NOFX filled in). I was thinking how can I bring this to MFC in an interesting way... Well the answer was in my face! All this band do is cover songs, punk-rock covers to be precise, of any genre of music. They did an album of songs featured in musicals, TV shows or films a while back. And I came up with one of my favorites!
