Some of you may remember me talking about an experimental piece from Radio 1 in which they would rescore the entirety of the movie Drive with new songs. Well I checked it out and... well obviously it's never going to beat the original soundtrack, Drive is too perfectly crafted and executed to work any other way. But the songs they used, most of them didn't fit, the original score found a balance between the cold harsh neon of the L.A. street and the dreamlike romance between Driver and Irene, out of the entire film only the Oh My Love scene (now replaced by "The Driver" from Bastille) feels like a slightly better fit and the elevator scene (now with Mellow Man by Laura Mvula) comes close but can't beat the original. I love him as Marty. That film is probably one of the best that came out last year.

Ray is hands fucking down his best role. He was HILARIOUS in that. Bobby Pellitt was also really funny. Safe to say I prefer my Colin Farrell as a comedy actor.

Though I did really like him in London Boulevard as well
