Fassbender and McQueen are one of those perfect marriages between actor and director and nowhere is that more obvious than Shame. Between Fassbender's cold, detached sex addict sturggling to deal with the upset to his perfect life by way of his emotionally charged sister who forces him to examine his lonely, empty existence and McQueen's unfaltering, uncompromising and unwavering direction that captures these truly intimate and powerful moments, forcing us to watch this man fall to pieces by a life he's tried to forget. It's a great companion piece to Nymphomaniac since both deal with the emotional consequences of a cold lifestyle but from different genders - although Shame is a modern masterpiece everyone needs to see while Nymphomaniac is only pretty good but far too graphic for most people to endure. 10/10, I just get drawn in by this flick each and every time.

I love him as Marty. That film is probably one of the best that came out last year.

Ray is hands fucking down his best role. He was HILARIOUS in that. Bobby Pellitt was also really funny. Safe to say I prefer my Colin Farrell as a comedy actor.

Though I did really like him in London Boulevard as well
