I enjoyed Watchmen after giving it a few viewings, but agree with Terry Gilliam that it would have worked best as a miniseries. So far I haven't been impressed with the way Zack Snyder tells stories. I have the same issues with him that I have with David Fincher, that it feels like he only sees the top layer of the great stories he makes into films.
