^Me too and I'm happy that I grew up with the original illustrations because I am not feelings these new ones.
These new illustrations I think are too "pretty" for the stories. The other pictures were grotesque in the best way possible.
That old illustration haunts my dreams to this day. That new illustration is too artsy for a story of that grotesqueness.
The new illustration looks pretty but the story isn't. Actually, it's really gross.
