Had dinner with Curtis Hanson's asst today. It's pretty sad... While we were on Of Men and Mavericks, he was having horrible heart issues.... Now, Dementia has set in and it's really severe. He said that Curtis, will definitely not be able to function let alone direct ever again.

What a great and welcome contrast this way to Raimi's vision. Webb really captured something special here and I can't shake the feeling loose.
Andrew Garfield deserves every bit of acknowledgment that should certainly come his way. His bottled painful memories and emotions create such great cathartic snapping points throughout the film.
This was a Peter Parker in only a way that Garfield could portray.
"Go upstairs. Go upstairs."..... you'll see.

Loved the Gleaming The Cube/Footloose moment! LOVED TASM3D! Andrew Garfield's emotional strength brought so much more to Peter Parker's story. And I was totally blown away with the visuals! The swinging sequences were superb as you could truly feel the gravity of each swing. The Lizard-wrap was so unique and perfect.
