I love punchlines ruined by spelling mistakes. It's like watching a comedian bomb on stage.
The Grey was superb...All the performances were top notch, fantastic nail biting tension and you could almost feel the harsh unrelenting cold weather depicted in the movie. Props to Liam Neeson for continuing his reign as Mr. Badass, but more importantly showing a very human, realistic and vulnerable side to his performance. Definitely will pick this up when it hits blu...Highly Recommended...Grade Rating=A
Finally watched Hard Candy and what a stirring, thought provoking, shocking, well written and well made film. Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson were on fire with their acting ability. Hard to root for either of the characters...there's a dark side to us all and god forbid if it's ever revealed or let loose. Highly Recommended...Grade Rating=A-...P.S-If i have one final thought, it's that Ellen Page can stay the f**k away from my balls!!
It's tough to fully root for the character of Hayley though simply because the film is straddling a pretty thin line between victim and villian and sometimes it weaves in and out between the two. Either way, she's pro active and takes the fight to him and i appreciated that.
Has anyone seen David Mamet's "Oleanna"? It's a great one to see right after "Hard Candy." It's always interesting to find out which character people side with: the older professor or the younger female student in that film. My guess is that not everyone rooted for Ellen Page either.
Thanks for the movie recommendation MovieManMark and i'll look for it on netflix. None the less, these films are fascinating to talk about for sure.

awesome!!
