Time to continue on with day 5 of my Middle-Earth marathon :) The Two Towers
JohnLocke2342 at 08:25 PM Dec 18

Fucking phenomenal.. so many brilliant scenes that I love.

Mr.Blizzo at 09:19 PM Dec 18

^That right there is my absolute favorite moment. It's such a beautiful shot of Gandalf, Eomer, and the riders of Rohan stampeding down the hill.

Many tears were shed watching The Battle of the Five Armies last night. What an exciting, beautiful and emotional conclusion. Thank you for everything, Peter Jackson. I'm about to continue on with day 4 of my Middle-Earth marathon, and I can't wait to see how well it flows into The Fellowship of the Ring.
JohnLocke2342 at 05:18 PM Dec 17

Ah, my favorite of all-time!

Dude it was an incredibly emotional ending, that's for sure. My girlfriend and I had the tears rolling somewhere around "the moment" and it didn't let up until he got back to The Shire.. just brutal.

Glinda at 08:38 PM Dec 17

So awesome you both loved it. I'm seeing it this weekend and I can't wait!

klinteastwood at 09:04 PM Dec 17

Continuing with day 2 of my Middle-Earth marathon :) ONE MORE DAY!!!
JohnLocke2342 at 05:35 PM Dec 17

Dude how much better was the extended edition with the added scenes of Mirkwood and Beorn? Loved those additions

Mr.Blizzo at 09:11 PM Dec 18

Loved the additions, especially with Beorn. The set they built for Beorn's house and the location that was chosen...just gorgeous!

Time for another viewing of GOTG. This time with James Gunn's commentary.

Glinda at 10:20 AM Dec 15

I plan to watch with the commentary soon as well. Hope you enjoyed it!

I'm still gonna check out Exodus: Gods and Kings in the theater, but that 25% rating on RT is extremely discouraging :/
Moviefreak2010 at 06:36 PM Dec 12

go and watch it you can't always believe what rt says you might love the movie when they did not

Cochise at 06:59 PM Dec 12

yeah I'm thinking there'll be a directors cut too. He said a little while back that the original cut was 3 hours or something? :s I don't know. Anyway yeah definitely a must see in the biggest theatre and in 3D for me considering it's Ridley Scott. Prometheus was an absolutely fantastic big screen 3D experience

XSsoCX at 07:58 PM Dec 12

I normally don't base what movies I'll see by a movie site rating. While bad word of mouth can be discouraging, if the trailer interests me I'm still seeing it. And "Exodus" is definitely one I want to see.

@Cochise - I bet you are right, there more than likely will be a Directors Cut. Hell, I just bought "Kingdom of Heaven" today for Scott. haha.

A little late night viewing of Guardians of the Galaxy. I was able to snatch the steelbook from Best Buy this morining :) I got there right when they opened at 10 and by the time I left, 20 min later, they were already sold out.
Moviefreak2010 at 01:31 AM Dec 10

wow good job man enjoy

JohnLocke2342 at 06:42 AM Dec 10

Bad-ass! You can tell this will be one of the most heavily sought after steelbooks they've ever made.

Just a reminder, Best Buy has a super sexy steelbook of GOTG. Soooo excited to watch it again!
Mr.Blizzo at 07:52 PM Dec 08

^Yeah I'm really glad they added that.

@Zacharia - Oh man, waiting for something that's been at the post office for a couple days is torture!

Just went on facebook and the very first thing I see on the top of my news feed is a giant fucking spoiler posted by The Walking Dead FB page itself...THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THEM!? I guess it's my own damn fault for going on the internet without seeing the episode first...but this was posted by none other than the walking dead fb page only an hour after the show aired on the west coast.
WalkAway at 06:44 AM Dec 01

You would think of all places, that'd be one that was safe. Sorry dude, that sucks!

Ocelot_Snake at 07:57 AM Dec 01

As I commented on their post "I'm starting to suspect AMC is run by assholes"

Glinda at 11:04 AM Dec 02

What stupidity. Ugh, sorry, that's unbelievable they would do that.

Christmas came early this year! The Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser is goddamn amazing!!! I hope they play it before The Hobbit, cuz I need to experience that in IMAX.
