Took a stroll down memory lane and watched Friday The 13th part II, my favorite in the Friday / Jason franchise....Anyone besides me have a favorite ?..Just curious
moviegirl67 at 11:42 PM Feb 24

Pretty much agreed cobb and Bitto 529, mostly because Jason wasn't really in the first movie, until the end and just simply how different Jason himself is, I like to call him "HELLBILLY JASON "!

timmyd at 01:52 AM Feb 25

Part 2 is probably my fave , just barely ahead of The Final Chapter .

moviegirl67 at 03:04 AM Feb 25

I was never big on the Final Chapter, perhaps because at the time I really believed they were ending the series lol 😁

A bit far fetched story of a boy sent to live with his uncles, probably geared toward a young audience, but still retains it's charm and adventurous spirit

So how did you get like this ?...Well it's kind of a long story, in fact if it were a movie it would take three or four sequels to do it justice. Bride Of Chucky

Wrong Turn 1-6

So as most of my friends know I've been watching the "Wrong Turn" movies and if your interested you can check out my review of Wrong Turn 1.
As a follow up up to the original;I like part2 the best, I liked the women cannibals, they actually seemed more vicious and it somewhat explains how they continue to live on as a couple of them have been killed in various films.
Part 3, was laughable as a supposed action / horror flick the opening when he was chasing the dude around the woods was hysterical.
Then its like okay we're in a sanitarium and it's winter, then next time we're a music fest tourist trap town and the next it's some sort of resort.
And in part 5, I never saw them eat anyone, Other then feeding the girl her own intestines, I mean their cannibals, there supposed to eat people !
Seriously make up my mind, the continuity problems are beyond ridiculous !
Overall I think they should of stuck with part 1 and left the others alone !

Mood: Chillin'

I dug the hell outta the first two , but the rest were pretty forgettable to downright horrid (I'm looking at you , part 5 )

Wrong Turn 5 arrived today, I'm almost through with the series
timmyd at 01:51 AM Feb 09

kinda lame , but the 6th is a little better .

moviegirl67 at 09:16 PM Feb 09

yeah timmyd, I really haven't been digging much of anything after part2, I think the lack of continuity, between any of the films is turning me off

Cast: Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg, Oprah Winfrey, Margaret Avery
Studio: Warner Bros
Genre: Period, Drama
Official Site:
Plot: Celie, is separated from her sister and children

I've read the book and the movie and I have only one problem from book to script, I feel they could've given more details to Nettie, her sister and Children's time spent in Africa. Great casting/ directing/ and singing !
