This is an awesome movie. let me start off by saying that there will be SPOILERS so if you have not seen this movie then don't continue to read on and if you do don't say I did not warn you. ok so now that is out of the way let’s start off with the plot basically the film is set in the year 2024 and most mutants are no more and the x-men are no more and there is a handful of mutants left including wolverine and professor x and a friend of theirs called Caliban who used to be part of the morlocks and now he is helping wolverine take care of professor x, wolverine is a self-employed limo driver and he then gets suckered in to taking this girl x-23/Laura to a place where he does not think exist. He finds out then that she is an experiment made of his genes and finds out that there is others like her. The experiments fight back and then they want to eliminate them and start over. So this is when a nurse working for them takes x-23 finds wolverine and hires him to take her to the safe place. Meanwhile they are being hunt down by a cyborg named Donald Pierce who works for the scientist and hates mutants. On top of things wolverine is being poisoned by the adatanium and the lead scientist who is making these soldiers is the son of the scientist who helped made wolverine. Now let’s talk about something that is a big give away wolverine dies and so does professor x. the only reason I’m ok with them killing off wolverine is if Hugh Jackman does not want to play the character anymore I’m glad they killed him off because I don’t want some other actor to ruin the part on another note I’m sad they did. Now I got that out let’s talk about the timeline this happens way after x-men apocalypse. The time line is pretty messed up with them changing the past in x-men days of future past and changing the future to where x-men 2 and 3 did not happen. So then you got to x-men apocalypse where you do see wolverine. Now if they make any other x-men movies based after apocalypse wolverine is still alive and if Hugh Jackman want to play a small cameo role they can. I would like to see them do the before Logan movie and see what happened to the x-men. Ok now on to the acting was great Hugh Jackman played wolverine as awesome as he always done, Patrick Stewart was awesome as professor x, Dafne keen was a great x-23(her first role), Boyd Holbrook was great as the Donald Pierce the main bad guy and Stephen merchant was great as Caliban and the rest of the acting was great. The story was great and the action was great. But I would say the one thing I hated about the film is how professor x dies I’m not telling cause there is another villain in the movie I don’t want to say. This is also the r rated wolverine movie everyone wanted to see. Oh and the deadpool trailer before the film was awesome. If you have not seen this movie then I recommend you do. Also one thing I wanted to point out is I just found out that this is Patrick Stewart’s last time playing professor x like I said I would rather them kill off the character then to see someone else pick up the role leaving of them and ruining it. It would be ok to start over because that actor is not trying to play the Hugh Jackman wolverine or the Patrick Stewart professor x they are making the character their own. And another thing I liked was that they reference x-men comic books in the film and action figures just watch out for it. And there is no after credit things. And I love the relationship between professor x and wolverine it had that father son feel since wolverine looks at professor x as a father figure. It was executed very well
