WOW! This is the second time an article on my blog has gotten a response from actress Katie Featherston. Not only did she post a link to it on her Facebook page but quoted me as well. I think I just peed myself! http://monsterzeronj.wordpress.com/2013/05/19/character-autopsy-examining-micah/

Love to see her in something else. She says she gets lots of horror film offers but, won't do anything like that if it's not going to be vastly different yet have equal impact of the PA series. She also keeps hinting at some possible TV comedy work yet, so far, nothing has materialized.

Props for going with the tie on Batman. I'd still give the slight edge to Keaton myself.

I'd add Chris Evans as Cap too, and Perlman's Hellboy.

I also saw "Jaws" in 1975. A year later I saw "Rocky" at the same theater. Mainly this says we're old farts, at least compared to most of the others here.

WHEN WRESTLING IMITATES ART

Oz
1. Kevin Sullivan/Conan The Barbarian: Sullivan's finishing move "The Tree Of Woe".
2. Sting/The Crow: Sting's look when he returns to battle the NWO is mighty familiar.
3. Undertaker/Excalibur: Undertaker's spell during his 'Ministry' phase is word for mistic word Merlin's "Charm of Making".
4. Road Warriors/The Road Warrior: Do I need to explain this?
5. Honky Tonk Man/Elvis: Do I need to explain this either?
6. Kevin Nash/Wizard of Oz: Someone please explain this one to me. (pictured)
7. Sting/Dark Knight: Sting's new "crazy" persona has him wearing some very familiar make up. Hmmmm... why so serious, Sting?
8. Demolition/The Road Warrior: A tag team ripping off a tag team inspired by a movie. Clever or crass, you decide!
9. Zeus/No Holds Barred: actor Tom "Tiny" Lister Jr. wrestled a few matches as his movie character from forgettable Hulk Hogan starrer.
10. David Arquette/Ready To Rumble: One note actor actually becomes WCW world Heavyweight Champion to promote awful wrestling movie. The Wreslitng world still weeps.
11. Lord Humongous(Sid Vicious)/The Road Warrior: Wreslter Sid Vicious is presented as a blatant copy of the classic film's villain.
12. Honorary mention: Mr.T- His Wrestlemania appearances weren't movie related but the B.A. Barracus actor did get in the ring more then once.
13. As per BigEvil84... Razor Ramon/ Scarface(1983): Caucasian Scott Hall as a Tony Montana inspired 'Cuban' wrestler.
BigEvil84
BigEvil84 at 04:53 PM Feb 18

You forgot Scott Hall's Razor Ramon character which was inspired by Tony Montana from 'Scarface'.

As far as Kevin Nash being Oz, that just does not make sense... at all. From what I understand, Ted Turner (and probably a lot of people who worked for him) loved the movie so much that apparently he or they wanted to have this character as sort of a tribute to the film. But that's the problem, 'The Wizard of Oz' and pro wrestling have NOTHING in common. At least with 'The Road Warrior' and 'The Crow', those movies' characters were fighters, so it made sense (in a way) to have some of those characters in wrestling because well... wrestling is fighting (stylized fighting, but I digress).

@horrorfan23: Interesting observation! I came of age in the 80s and never thought of it that way but, absolutely dead on. In the 90s things grew darker with Se7en and even Matrix. Even music went from synthesizer pop to grunge and hip hop.
