Rambo

Stallone not only returns to one of his most famous characters but, to the director's chair as well in this taunt, suspenseful and action packed thriller. Gone is the larger then life super soldier and instead, we get a pissed-off at the world warrior who finally comes to terms with who he is and what he does best. And when he teams with a group of mercs to rescue missionaries in war torn Burma, Rambo gets to do plenty of what he does best. The climax is a bloody shoot out right out of The Wild Bunch which has to be seen to be believed. The best of the sequels and a solidly directed and delightfully ballistic action movie from Sly.
