Advance screening of The Social Network with Aaron Sorkin & Jesse Eisenberg Q&A... this film is going to be HUGE. It's just as good as it looks, and possibly better. Can't wait for everyone to see it - it's really fantastic!

I like this list, 7 of the films in your top 10 are also in mine (and I haven't gotten around to Where the Wild Things Are yet), though of course The White Ribbon needs to be higher.

Up is the only animated film I saw from last year so I also have to get around to Fantastic Mr Fox and Coraline at some point. Did you ever see The Road? That would be my #11.

Hey, glad you like the list! I was really hoping to see The Road, but it's already mid-March and it just hasn't come out in any format over here yet, so I'll just have to wait until it comes out on DVD and then, if required, I will add it in.

And you definitely have to get around to the two other animated films. It was certainly a strong year for the medium. They're not quite as amazing as Up, but they're close! And the only reason The White Ribbon is a little low is because, while amazing and fascinating and shocking and incredible, I also found it to be quite a difficult and inaccessible film that I probably won't watch again.

Great list, man. I loved Where the Wild Things Are but it didn't quite make my own personal top 10 list, but good to see it's appreciated. #2 is quite the bold placing. :)

Thanks. What can I say... Where the Wild Things Are just blew me away, on both viewings. It's just such a unique experience, such a different kind of film. I absolutely fell in love with it; for me, it was just a beautiful, special movie.

That's an excellent list.
