Saw Trainwreck as an early birthday movie. It was pretty great. I also want Amy Schumer and Brie Larson to work together forever.

MrsData, they really did! Also, have you seen the trailer for Room? Looks like another good film with Brie Larson.

Laksmikanti at 11:40 AM Aug 09

I had to finish that one. Loooooved Jhon Cena there;-)

MrsData at 03:59 PM Aug 09

@MLRoberts, no that trailer didn't play during my screening but I just watched it and it does look good!

Suggestions needed! For my internship, I can read books, and watch movies/TV shows. Any book/film/series suggestions about death/dying, hospice, cancer, ALS, Alzheimer's/dementia, Huntington's, and things along those lines? Thank you in advance!
grelber37 at 11:20 AM Aug 04

Perhaps, do an imdb search. Use the keywords "terminal-illness" and "alzheimers". I had plenty of titles pop-up that way.

Laksmikanti at 11:38 AM Aug 04

I made a blog about Cancer Movies a while ago, you can check there girl!.

MLRoberts at 02:48 AM Aug 09

Awesome! Thank you all for the help!

She's got a great look!

MLRoberts at 01:17 AM Aug 04

WA, she's one of the best older actresses. If you ever get the chance to check out her work, I highly recommend The Rains Came and The Thin Man.

I've decided that I want someone to make a movie about the start of SNL and I want them to cast Jenny Slate as Gilda Radner. Basically, I just want an excuse for Hollywood to cast Jenny Slate as Gilda Radner.
TJLunsford at 09:09 PM Nov 30

That sounds about perfect. You should write the screenplay.

HTX0811 at 09:14 PM Nov 30

Great idea. I love SNL behind the scenes stories and would see this in a heartbeat. And if you want to write the screenplay, I'll help.

MLRoberts at 02:20 AM Dec 01

TJL: That's a great idea! I'll look into that.

HTX: I'll let you know if I do anything.

It's after Thanksgiving which means it's officially time for some Love, Actually.
Righteous_faustus at 02:41 AM Nov 29

Nice! Such a great and diverse cast.

Glinda at 03:47 AM Nov 29

No words. What's funny is when this came out I didn't like it. I thought it was too convoluted with too many stories and not enough character development with any of them. Then I watched it a second time and wondered what I was smoking before. SO GOOD.

MLRoberts at 08:32 PM Nov 30

Righteous: I so agree. It's got such a wide range of actors.

Glinda: Interesting! I'm glad you liked it after a second viewing :)

The Theory of Everything

In the 1960s, Cambridge University student and future physicist Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne) falls in love with fellow collegian Jane Wilde (Felicity Jones). At 21, Hawking learns that he has motor neuron disease. Despite this -- and with Jane at his side -- he begins an ambitious study of time, of which he has very little left, according to his doctor. He and Jane defy terrible odds and break new ground in the fields of medicine and science, achieving more than either could hope to imagine.

Glinda at 03:49 AM Nov 29

I really want to see this.

MLRoberts at 08:33 PM Nov 30

I highly recommend it. It's definitely more of a romantic story than a science story but the acting is superb!

Spent Thanksgiving treating myself to lunch and a movie. Saw The Theory of Everything, and my, was it a lovely, touching movie. Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne were superb.
XSsoCX at 08:17 PM Nov 28

I'm glad you dug the movie, I know you were really excited about that one.

MLRoberts at 01:34 AM Nov 29

Thanks, XS! I really was excited to see it so I'm glad it didn't disappoint.

XSsoCX at 08:44 AM Nov 29

You're welcome.
