I haven't seen anything she's in but I've heard nothing but good things about Martha Marcy May Marlene. Still pretty though.
Liberal Arts was a really good indie comedy.
I still need to see Martha Marcy May Marlene

Plus, is 2 Days in New York the Chris Rock movie? Because I haven't heard much of it.
Yup, that's the Chris Rock movie with Julie Delpy. I thought it was pretty funny and what not. It's got a hipster vibe to it, but it's a nice take on today's modern families.
really gotta see Perks, the trailer looked surprisingly fun. Loved Hobbit, Looper, Prometheus and Silver Linings! Good to see em there, nice stuff man!

Oh man! That's some Barats and Bereta, a sketch comedy group actually from around my neck of the woods that has some now classic Youtube vids. Here's the full vid for your viewing pleasure:
I've always been curious to see Santa Claus: The Movie. I think that has something to do with my fascination with John Lithgow since age 6.

Tazo from Starbucks? NICE! MJZ & Idris riding around in the Turtle Party Wagon smokin' some Cubanos...epic!

This was EPIC!
Well it sounds epic, I don't remember. I wish I remembered Tyrion Lannister, which was probably some kid.

It's an ok show. But something about it that sucks me in every week. It's got a western vibe to it, so I guess that has a lot to do with it.
Damn I forgot to add Parks and Rec. Fixed

And he said 'John, go do my will.' Good choices, Marston's a badass.

Oh and yes to Elizabeth Olsen being #6. I seriously thought about putting that lol
I did this thing like 5 times and everytime I had something different :p

My previous list from a year ago or so: http://www.moviefancentral.com/mjz/top10s/7795

You sir, are doing yourself a grave disservice by not watching No. 7!
I dare say even Nolan was somewhat inspired by that original 1966 movie. There seem to be a few callbacks to it in BEGINS and TDKR I noticed.

Yea that pic is from year ago at my old job in the office. I was REALLY bored that night and found some old glasses sitting around

^You got that right, leese. I can recite that movie word for word. More than Ghostbusters. yea thats right

^I know right? This summer was good for my male super heroes And they've always been my top three.

I would have rated the same way you did dude! I have to give it up to my guy Cap!
This is a tough list to make...I love seeing Loki and BW so high, and of course IM.
This was a hard list. I shouldve put IM 2nd. And possibly put Hawkeye above Maria. Ah, hell.

Based on a list by CriticalAcclaim
Needs more Barry White. But I actually chuckle thinking about number 9 haha

This list is really cool. I never really understood #5 so the information is perfect, I totally agree with #9 and #10 is cool as hell!

Aww shucks! THANK YOU! This should happen! I'll totally dress up as Maria!

Lance Armstrong? Dude.. He is a legendary inspiration, that's awesome!

"ALL of their songs." yet no Strange Tiimes is listed haha... :p (that's my favorite btw, if you didn't notice)

@Laksmikanti - That is possible
@RB -Get some what? lol
@TP - That's all day everyday, bro.

J Wow's fake boobs eliminate the rest of her hotness for me.. they're so out of place.
I'm not going to lie. Dreshcer is damn hot. The voice I can handle in "certain" situations.

and I thought my multiples of 2 rule was problematic :p
wow, from 5'3" to 6'4" that's something.
cool stuff. I'm still getting over the fact that you don't like hot beverages tho

I wish I could just cover myself in honey and roll into a crowd of people compiled from this list.

I guess I should say as far as #10 goes I'm just a big observer of women's fashion. I notice it and like it. I don't require it though. I like the work and time women put in. It's not lost on me :)
Though, I don't care if a lady just wants to walk around in sweats and a T. Fine by me.

Thank you, thank you. Though, most days I had stuff going on with work and other matters, especially frickin Jury Duty, I still put in what time I had for October viewings.

hahaha the Todd? Wow.. he's such a stupid prick that I don't know if I should laugh about it or secretly be upset.
I think I'll laugh, because It's sadistically perfect in a sense.. I can be that loud, obnoxious, stupid asshole in almost a polar opposite way... thanks homie.

HaHa he is a pimp. breaking computers and stealin birth certificates and random suitcases.
I think The Sixth Sense and Paranormal Activity just need to be permanent members of this list.
I know. I overestimated Paranormal Activity. I thought it was gonna be boring and overrated. Boy was I wrong.

ehh...not really. I watched the first one then most of the 2nd one. Just wasn't all that thrilled.

I wanna hang with Fresh Prince Will Smith. He seems like a riot to hang around.

Love that movie! Should be on my top lists. "Warriors...come out to playaa!"

#5- a childhood friend used to talk to manhole covers because he thought the turtles were down there

I could definitely add TS3 to my list, I just haven't seen it enough as the other movies. Love your answers for 5, 7 (Have you seen Open Your Eyes?), 9 and 10

@randy R2D2 is an awesome tone. But I guess I have enough of Star Wars themes on there, since when my old mna calls me I get the Imperial March :D
@MJZ it might be my favorite Eddie movie actually. And it's not like I don't love the Beverly Hills Cop
Randy don't feel so bad. I only know my ringtone for phone calls cause I looked it up. NO ONE ever calls me either. If my Mom didn't call me I would never hear the Star Wars theme. lol.

"You guys gotta get me out of here! There's this guy Nasty Nate who wants my cocktail fruit, and everyone here likes fresh fish! Then The Squirrel Master came out of left field and told me I'm his bitch!"
He's the teacher, so I guess it makes sense. :P Thanks for that, dude!
PS I gotta get this movie on DVD.

'Tis an honor sir, thank you much!
I do enjoy collecting my spores, molds and fungus.

Kelly is my muse... I have a picture of her across from my bed. I wake up everyday looking at her.

I KNEW I've seen this before :D http://themetapicture.com/media/cool-house-waterslide-pool.jpg
^That is an awesome pic, randy.
And yes it would probably be Ghostbusters, lol. I'd invite the original cast to come watch it. haha
All my schmoes are invited to my water park. Live there I don't care, lol. Especially since VitamanMan8 will be hiding in the slides, lol.
And yes, Nite Owl, you can join the franchise! You gotta answer only one question: "Do you believe in UFOs, astral projection, mental telepathy, ESP, clairvoyance, spirit photography, telekinetic movement, full trans-mediums, the Loch Ness monster, and the theory of Atlantis?"

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Every word is true. You gals and guys rock.
This is one of the best lists I've ever had the pleasure of reading. I especially love your number 6 - that saying is just the sweetest. And you are an inspiration, as well. :-)

^Naw, lol. We were pretending to slip and fall in the store next to the wet floor signs, lol. Though break dancing would've been a great idea...
Slip dancin' , it's a new thing
oh and why is Kelly Brook at your house? I told her not to wader to far off
MJZ, you're awesome sauce! And, you have the best work ethic I've ever heard. Btw, does that wood carving of yours happened to be named Franky? :-p (<--I know, I know. Bad Joke! haha)

Based on a list by AlmostFamous91
Shocking, huh? Though Ghostbusters is my all-time favorite, I easily watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles a lot more.
I wanted to name more (Spaceballs, The Lion King, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Aladdin, Batman, and The Mighty Ducks) but I only wanted to do 10. Though it wasn't easy.
HOney I shrunk the kids!! Im surprised that movie doesn't get as much love as it should

Just realized I can do two different Shaggys from what I've mentioned.

You should come to SD this july :D for ComicCon... everybody should... 1st grandscale MFC meetup :D

The last one upsets me and the Jay-Z lol I don't thnk she'd like it if you gave her nickname that described one of her body parts as being big. And you are good looking man..Jay-Z is talented but he reminds me of a camel and Mr. Potato Head.
Yea it used to upset me a bit, but now I laugh at it.
And thanks for saying I'm a good looking guy. :-)
Camel and Mr. Potato Head?? LOL

You know I love #9...never forget when I dedicated Dear Mama to my mom and it brought tears to her eyes.
#15 had the biggest impact on me in the past 10 years. I never listened to jazz before that album, it opened my ears to all different styles of music.
Dude, I'm with you on the Korn cd's, those were staples of my high school years.

#1- So, looks like someone's been Rick-rolled one too many times! hahaha
#8 - Makes me wanna bang my head against a wall everytime I hear it!!!
I actually like #'s 5 and 7... guilty pleasures. ;-D Also, isn't Chevy Chase in the Paul Simon video?
@Kitty- I got Ricked-rolled on Thanksgiving last year... it was a loooooong day, lol.
Yup, he's in that video. I actually love that song, but once I hear 2 seconds of it, I'm doomed. I also blame Jaci for #7. Months ago she posted the video. I hadn't heard the song in YEARS, lol.

Love Steve Carell...HATED Dan in Real life though, BECAUSE I liked Dan so much and his goddamn family and daughters were fucked up! Jesus...Cool List though..
Yea his family and daughters were kinda annoying. Though one of his daughters were Alison Pill :-)

(apparently I've commented on all your posts today, MJZ lol)
If I got to hang out with Pegg and Carrell at the same time, I don't think I would survive from the laughing!

I can not get behind any boxing list with Rocky IV omitted.. I'm mad at you dude. Seriously.
(glares)
@greatballsoffire - To be honest The Fighter is much higher due to its freshness. It was easier to remember it so quickly.
@JohnLocke2342 - Don't worry, dude. I love Rocky IV. It was the first one I ever watched as a young lad. I guess I should've made an honorable mention list.

Based on a list by quidditchmom
Sinbad haha nice
Score another point for Mrs Carmody.. BITCH! and double score for Wall-E! nice.. I also put him in characters I relate to haha

3. - I still want one. :(
4. - Well, Mattel's gonna be announcing their next GB prop replica at SDCC this summer!

The first 6 came to me quick. Personal and all-time favorites. I remember reading in the now defunct Geek Monthly (magazine) they proclaimed 1982 "The Greatest Geek Movie Year Ever." They make a good statement, lol.
Check out the american remake of Being Human. It's really good. Cool characters too.
Walter Bishop, Raj and Rick Grimes are the best!! Love those characters... no exception to kooky Walter. :-)

Based on a list by RandomK1NG

Thank ya. Oh and I quote Tommy Boy, daily as well. I almost made half the list Tommy Boy quotes, lol.
What are we serving tonight? Chicken or chicken?
This was pretty exceptional list man! Kudos to you for finally putting yours up. EXCELLENT!
thanks for the kind words everyone.
@TheChanges23- Yea I wanted to post it last week but my damn comp crashed right when I hit submit, lol. I was pissed, lol. Luckily I was able to get it out today.

To this day I have to skip "Suddenly Seymour". I just cant. Secondhand embarrassment. I freaking love LSOH though.
Wow, how sad, I did not know that but I love the guy even more now, he could have taken the easy celebrity route. To think all eyes are on stupid shilohs and the saharas of the world. Much respect Mr Moranis.
One of SCTV's all time best alumni! "My Blue Heaven" was a nice film for Rick too.

Great list, MJZ!! I still have yet to listen to the new The Black Keys. Aren't they fantastic?? Glad you have an appreciation for some good tunes. :-)
Thanks Kitty. The Black Keys new album is phenomenal. Can't get enough of it. Listening to it right now :-) I'm pretty open about my music but I can't stand for garbage, lol
TBK's are pretty golden. And The Roots album was spectacular as well. They always find a way to deliver despite my high expectations for them.

I love #7. I remember one winter I was stuck on a bus in a horrible winter storm and some dude started playing it on his guitar. Everybody knew it, everybody sang along. It was fucking magical.
thanks everyone. Especially MrsData. That was an awesome comment.
@ Derek237: that had to be sweet, man. Good way yo forget the troubles with the bus. Been there before.

Some very fine choices in this list! Trick R Treat was such an awesome Halloween film.

I loved your list! I'm sorry to hear about #13, though... maybe one day she'll come around! Btw, in regard to #4, if you like Rebecca Hall, you should watch the Red Riding trilogy - she's in the first one, and she's great! #10 - Hey, a penny saved is a penny earned, as they say. :-)
I keep hearing about Red Riding Trilogy I guess I really need to see it. Especially for Rebecca :)

Based on a list by JohnLocke2342
hell Fuking yes he does, Nite Owl. that movie is da shiz. First movie I ever watched in theaters.

Great list and damn, I forgot Kenan and Kel..along with Will and Carlton. I mean..Will took a bullet for him!
Ah Turk and JD...giving all us guys hope for a bromance we can be one day be apart of..lol

^^ He's playing here on Sat but I had no one to go with and now it's sold out.

Damn straight .... if you haven't suffered with the Lions these past 20 years, I don't want to see your bandwagon-jumping carcass when they inevitably (possibly ... Please God, throw us a bone here) turn things around.
Ditto MJZ and John. It's rough being a Lions fan.. Things are looking up for us, as long as everyone stays healthy the next couple years. Hell, maybe even the Playoffs next year!
This year I would be happy with 6-10. Anything better than that would just be gravy.
Now your hate for Michigan, and your love for Notre Dame....well that makes me a sad Panda, MJZ. :( :)

Based on a list by horrorfan23
Beckinsale is my #1 on any hottie list she is eligible for, she's mighty damn fine.
I should punch myself for forgetting. I just can't...argh this is horrible. Embarrassing... especially one of my all time favorite visual memories of her was on Click when she was in those short shorts and in that "Pocahontas" outfit...ssssmokin
yea Baseball is my favorite sport. Still need to see The Natural. Which is sad that I haven't seen it.
I actually like football a little more, but baseball makes for better movies for some reason.
I 4got to mention that football is a hard contender for favorite sport. I love them both...
"Are You Afraid of the Dark?" Doug gets a spot on my list, as well as David the Gnome.
ahh crap I forgot to put Are You Afraid of the Dark? as an honorable mention...hell I should just put it in the top 10...damn
Gumby needs to be on this list, unless he wasn't Nickelodeon, then he doesn't need to be on this list.
I like that a couple others are doing this list too, and it's interesting that EVERYONE has Saw at the top, but the rest all over the place. Lol, we ALL have them ranked completely differently, good list tho! :]
hell yea threezy! The 3rd and the 5th one are the only ones that I wasn't feeling too much. The others change from day to day, lol but the first Saw is always number one. I love the Saw movies. I was really surprised by the 6th one, though. Much better than I thought it would.

YA KNOW WHAT, MJZ, MY FRIEND ?? That is a kick-ass list, as you say, lots of haters on the AVRIL front, PSHAAWW !! Girl can go, when she wants to ! HAYLEY WILLIAMS, DAMN !!Not only FINE, she's got golden chords !! PINK, SHIRLEY MANSON, and the 'bats in the belfry', BEAUTY, LILY ALLEN !! YOU, SIR, know your shit !!!!
I LOVE your #1, MJZ! Cristina Scabbia rocks! She has an incredible, powerful, ethereal voice, and she's gorgeous too. I'm a big fan of Lacuna Coil myself.
Lacuna Coil is an awesome band. I didn't discover them until earlier last year. Their album Karmacode is my favorite CD to listen to in the morning to get myself ready and pumped for work, lol
I figured some people wouldn't agree with some of the list, but hey, it's my list...lol

Pretty nice list. Colbie definitely has a lazy day relaxing effect. And cute, too. I'd probably throw in Regina Spektor and Ingrid Michaelson.
My sister saw both Alicia, Beyonce and Norah in concert on two different occasions. She said Alicia and Beyonce were fabulous and knew how to keep the crowd interested while Norah had a nice voice but was so dull. She apparently didn't get up from her piano at all. My sister and her friend left half way through lol
I didn't know Joss Stone was white until I saw her video lol
@MrsData: LMAO
Yea Norah isn't really a great performer as far as Alicia or Beyonce. Shes just great listening to in a jazzy way and all.

Ah shit. When I was a kid, I couldn't get enough of '3 Ninjas'. Wait a minute... did I just say that out loud? DAMMIT!
Reno 911: Miami, im proud to say is not a guilty pleasure. I'm proud i love it!
Just Friends though is one of my guilty pleasures tho
I loved Keenan and Kel on Nick. They had the best shit growing up and other than Kel "being dead" (love that one), Thompson is still churning out funny from what I can tell from SNL clips. As for LAND OF THE LOST, I'm not the world's biggest Will Ferrell fan, but I actually dug that movie. I don't know why it didn't do better.

Based on a list by Psycho-Pirate-99
GREAT LIST !! A very nice salute on a day set aside for those who helped shape our lives, and made us proud to know them !! VERY NICELY DONE, MY FRIEND !!

Based on a list by Psycho-Pirate-99
Aw man, I've still got that Kenner Proton Pack, PKE Meter and Ghost Trap! These were the awesome.
NICE! I had the ghostbuster pack and shit, and you should see my Ninja Turtle collection
BIG WHEEL, W/MOUNTED WATER GUN !! How SWEET is that ?! Pimpin' rides before it was COOL, You were a man ahead of your time !!
FRINGE is so so great. Really amazing show. You should try out Sons of Anarchy - that show is great.
FRINGE and BIG BANG THEORY are both outstanding shows, not a big T.V. guy either, but I know what I like. A couple of great suggestions above, BREAKING BAD(Vitamin man8) and DEXTER ( Freddy Kreuger) both great shows worth checking out.
If you can think of others let me know...
I was going to list Minority Report, Apollo 13 and Saving Private Ryan but those titles come out later this year. Along with Lord of the Rings.
Totally agree with the Alien movies...they will look great, except maybe for Aliens...the grainiest of the series, I won't hope for crystal clear quality there. They also need to update the Nightmare on Elm Street collection to Blu-ray, too. So far only the first is getting the treatment.
Very nice! But I pose this question to both you and Matches: GARGOYLES?
I did 4get to mention this list was done in great haste and I would accidentally 4get a few. I'll add X-Men, Smurfs, Duck Tales as favorites. I need to revise this list...just remembered more.
As far as Scooby-Doo, flintstones, jetsons and Gargoyles... I watched them, but not personal favorites.
THIS CAN'T BE IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE ! ''TMNT'' AND ''REAL GHOSTBUSTERS'' I CAN AGREE WITH, BUT ''DARKWING DUCK'' AND ''PINKY AND THE BRAIN'' AT NO.21 AND 22 RESPECTIVELY! SAY IT ISN'T SO !
I'm forgetting some more...but these came to me first. If you can think of others please remind me, lol
Verlander . That is all .
