He just kills everything and everyone lol and that wouldn't have made any sense for Darth Vader in Episodes IV-VI as it's shown that while he may be corrupted deep down there's still something good in him, that's why I think the struggle/frustration in I-III worked... well, aside from the I Hate Sand shit, because seriously sand is AWESOME
But killing the Emperor and taking over the Empire means he could change the way things will go, couldn't it?
True, but aside from the fact that that would totally change Episodes IV to VI it would... well it would be interesting to see, but the whole thing about Darth Vader is that he still has a heart, he's corrupted but he still has some good in him.
If it were like this and he had just murdered Obi Wan and then murders the Emperor then that angle of him still having some good in him would be gone in my mind. He would change the way things go yeah but in my mind it would only change for the worse as his actions there seem to describe a more ruthless and less calculated villain/leader than the Emperor. He would just be 100% evil. Which would be cool I guess, but kind of ruins what's so cool/interesting/different about Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader as a villain to me. That's just me though
Good point, guess they didn't consider that, though you know, Greedo shooting first and all, they don't seem very intelligable about their own characters sometimes.
