Wow, where the hell was I when this one came out? Ashton Kutcher proves once again he has the acting ability to hold down his own for a drama flick. Especially a couple of parts in the film, he really solidified that he could. I felt he did a phenomenal job, as well the other main man Kevin Costner. The banter used between him Kutcher's character, and numerous other ones throughout the film were pretty funny to see. Actually quite a bit of laughter ensues through a decent majority of the film. Happy to report even with the 139 minute long run-time, the movie never felt like it was dragging on or anything of the sort. I highly recommend everyone giving this great movie a watch, who knows, you might fancy it as much as I do. Blu ray purchase worthy, dvd at minimum... [more]
Wonders if I will ever get to see the most bad ass villain in Spider man. Carnage. How can you get more bad ass than that? Lizard man? Are you ******* kidding me? ^_^
Yeah! Thats what I was thinking too. You cant get much for sinister than that mofo.

What area was I NOT disappointed in this movie? Thankfully I went into this movie not knowing much so I wasn't highly disappointed with the pile of poo that it was. I haven't the slightest inkling of what anyone saw in this movie other than the strong acting chops Sam Rockwell provided. I was bored through pretty much all of it. With the little diologue that there was, none of it really had me saying holy shit this movie was great. The ending came and went with me scratching my head thinking... "this cant be it" Only other positive I can say for the movie is the score was dope, which isn't a surprise cause it's done by the man himself, Clint Mansell. Avoid this movie at all costs. Save your coin for something better... [more]

I almost didn't see this movie, but I am very glad I did. I saw the 5 out of 10 JimmyO gave it and I was close to passing it up. Even with all my anticipation I was thinking of doing this. Shame on you for making me doubt the awesome movie it was. One of his qualms he said he had with it was that there was no originality with the movie. I have NO IDEA what he is talking about. There is nothing close to it. The film shots were gorgeous. I loved every minute of seeing the very believable world. The score was SO perfect for the movie. Denzel of coarse made this movie bad ass with his strong acting chops. I thought Gary Oldman did another fine job as playing a ruthless villain. The eye candy was a sight to see of coarse with Mila Kunis. I thought she was a odd choice on casting's part, but she did good surprisingly. Strong movie overall, go check it out for yourself in the theater and then on blu ray when available... [more]

What a bucket of mess. That's what I thought leaving the theater. Usually I am pretty good at picking out the good ones but this rare crap stain slipped through the cracks. You know with all the vampire flicks being pumped out these days, I was actually happy with the plot in this one. It was unique in the sense that all the humans were almost wiped out. Usually its the vamps in hiding. The only thing I ended up liking though was Willem Dafoe's character. This is another movie I hope that does not spawn any sequels or anything. Pretty much throughout the whole movie no area really shined in anything. Overall I would recommend you even forgot that this movie existed and move along better knowing you missed a god awful movie... [more]

Going into this flick I was highly thrilled. Leaving the movie I was overwhelmed. Twas a beauty in many, many ways. First I'll start with the Acting. I really wasn't sold on Sam Worthington prior to seeing this movie, but I have to admit he really did good with his role. Sigourney Weaver also brought her bad ass personality on board, which was a pleasure to see as a cocky scientist. With the amount of budget used to create this film, one could imagine the film would look stunning with all the technology involved. Well that one would be correct. I saw the movie in 3D at the IMAX of coarse and was astonished nonetheless. I hope everyone gets the opportunity to see the gem at the IMAX in 3D at the very least. It is worth a blu ray purchase though... [more]

Well... I cant say I was surprised would be a good place to start. Your standard popcorn fest of a movie I guess would some it up. Some of the action is believable, some not so much, but I guess overall it was solid in that area. The blood was more than silly though. My thing is this... if you are going to use the blood, by all means go ahead, but we are in 2010... I have seen better looking blood in late 80's/early 90's flicks. The blood looked super fake. Another complaint would be they definitely went cg heavy with a lot of the scenes which was unfortunate. Overall I would say this one is a skip at all costs... [more]

Agreed, Carnage would be one bad ass mofo to put on screen. Especially with the technology available today.
