While I have hope that Henry Cavill will do a good job as Superman, my heart still says Jared Padalecki should've gotten the part. He has the size for Supes but the "Aw, shucks!" charm needed to be Clark Kent.

The Dr. Who movie/reboot is a bloody terrible idea and I pray that it fails miserably, before production or after. Thanks Hollywood but I'll stick to the with 40+ years of history and canon.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children was simply fantastic. However, I am upset to learn the sequel won't be released until 2013. A very, very long wait ensues.

Sons Of Anarchy again proved it is the best damn show on TV. The last line of the episode sent shivers down my back. Season 4 has been the best so far which is saying a lot.

I hate that shit from BBC cost so much to buy and that the regular BBC shop that has reasonable prices doesn't ship to the states,
It really does suck, but it DOES go on sale, you just kind of have to be patient with it. Sucks if you want something right away on release day though.
Well all I want for Christmas is Dr. Who and Torchwood. Walmart.com has them reasonably cheap for now.

Starting my week long horror spree today. Just boogied to Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Silly. Stupid. Mindless. Fun. Forgettable. All words that come to mind after viewing the flick. Now onto Extinction!
That sums it pretty aptly I think. Enjoyable horror/sci-fi/action creature feature fluff.

Much to my surprise, I didn't loathe Green Lantern like so many others. It was an alright and easy way to pass a few hours and Ryan Reynolds is just so damn likable. Was it a great movie? By no means, but I've seen worse.
Honestly if I had seen it in theaters I would've been a little more disappointed. But the negative word of mouth benefited the flick and it wasn't as bad as people said. I plan on writing a review tomorrow.
I fart in its general direction but I could see how people might dig it.

I am seeing Sweeney Todd at my local playhouse with the lady on Sunday. Can't believe I found a girl who can get me to go to a play. Ha. However, it should be fun.

Anyone else have a soft spot for the movie Urban Legend? It's another horror flick I saw at a young age that helped make me a fan of the genre. Add to that I've had a thing for urban legends and folk lore since I was a kid and would read these gruesome (for my age) books that were filled with them. Anyone know which ones I am talking about?
I went to see it in theaters and loved it. These days? Eh, it's okay.
