Wishmaster series reviewed
The idea behind “Wishmaster” may not be the most original, but at least in the right hands it could be imaginative and entertaining. And it was! Unfortunately in the wrong hands, it can turn into a big turd. In this case, the series came out with three turds out of the four movies. I would imagine most people stopped paying attention to the series after the first or second, some may even be shocked to know that there are four of these things. What’s even more shocking is that they were even made to begin with. Yes, this will not be a fun venture, but fear not, at least you only have to read about them, I had to live through them.

Pissed!Well, I'm trying to cover a lot of movie series that aren't the big ones like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc. This just wound up being one of the bad ones.
Too late, I already lived through them as well. :/
I love the first one though, which I believe got a theatrical release. Yep, there's a reason why the rest of them got the D2V treatment.
The first one kicks ass.
I stopped after that. Director Robert Kurtzman knows how to make an effective picture.
The open and close of Wishmaster are insane, so many effects shots. At least it was in the capable hands of a man who's known effects for years.
I knew of this series, but I never bothered to look into it. UNTIL I found out that Andrew Divoff, who played Mikhail on my fav show LOST, was the one who portrays the Wishmaster himself.
Then I knew I had to check it out, and indeed he truly kicks ass in them. The 2nd one is pretty bad, but he would be the reason to watch it. Don't even bother with the ones he's not in.
The ONLY reason to ever watch Wishmaster 2 is for Divoff, he's fun to watch, but it's not fun everything else without Divoff on screen.

Why did you watch them all?,you should have just left it at the first film instead of torturing yourself.
