I feel compelled to watch all the movies where Charlize Theron is. Unintentionally I had done it. She is such a great performer, and yes of course it comes the fact that she is a beauty, but movies like "Monster" prove that this lady can really act, she commits with her role and the story and she will always deliver.

Young adult has the intention to be a sort kind of comedy. I love this kind of movies, movies about people that can be you and me in a random regular town with random regular people, in jobs they hate or love, with all sort of people. I call them normal movies. In this kind of "normal movies" I am not concerned about the plot, the script, the acting (only when a big star is), I just want to see the movie and enjoy the experience. This people is my favorite kind of movies, I also call them the "Unlabeled" movies. So "Charlize in all her beauty and mess comes back to town really focused to get back her former beau, she doesn't have a plan, she just show herself and expect that the man will abandon his wife and newlyborn baby because they had a relationship before and she thinks that the flame is still alive and she is self convinced that the man is not happy in his current life. Yes, she is really blind, and commits mistake by mistake, and put herself in embarrassing situations until the reality slaps her in the face. The whole reality, the reality about the man, her life, her behavior, her future.

As a girl I enjoyed few small and maybe unimportant things: Her independence, she going to get her nails done, the shopping, the fact that she just was able to get a car and go off, her job, her apartment, yes, she was messy and sometimes irresponsible with her dog, which is unforgivable for me. I think at the end she understand the lesson and started to grow up. Go and watch this movie any given afternoon, is nice.

Charlize is one hell of an actress. Her work in this was spellbinding.

I really loved this movie, Charlize was great in it and I thought it was unique because (spoiler spoiler) the character didn't really learn any important life lesson or change in any significant way and I really think the movie had a lot of guts to do that and it made it all the more funny. Charlize really should have gotten an Oscar nomination for this IMO.
