3 IDIOTS (Movie Review)

03in_3idiots_113415f

I have been following Aamir Khan's work since "Laagan" , (which was one of the entrance of India's participation in The Oscars), later on I found out that Aamir Khan produced Laagan, and I followed his blog, he showed there a video of how he was transforming himself in the Character, I was really impress of his commitment to his job, something that I haven't see in many Indian actors. So, later on I read about this movie and it didn't catch me at that time, but now, here, I saw the option to get this movie and I did it.

3 Idiots is the story of 3 friends, a journey during their college life with "Rancho" (Aamir Khan) as the main character. Each character has its own story but mostly is how Rancho influenced in each people's life. Then at some point Rancho vanished from their life and the movie starts the very moment they got news about their longtime friend, so the journey begins and we get to really live the story of these guys, until we find out the big mystery around Rancho's life.

Color me amused, impressed, and touched by the life in college of these guys, we get to see everything from a man's point of view what is it the life in college, the pressure of the exams, the bromance! (the whole movie is indeed a bromance history), and the importance of those moments that after college will not come back but they got a huge influence of the kind of person you will become.

Yes, as many Indian movies it has his musical times, but unlike most, this time, during the musical the story keeps developing in a funny and sweet way so is not something for missing.

I am happy after watching this movie, and knowing that Aamir Khan is obsessive, perfectionist and very demanding about his job, I am quite content to see this final and highly inspiring product after a long time.

P.S.: since most of the story develops in a Engineering College, there is a looot of geekiness in the movie, mostly at the beginning and the end, this guys really convinced me they were Engineering Students.

Mood: Surprised
