another random rewatch: jfk

oliver stone is one of my favorite filmmakers of all time..from his hand in writing some of cinemas most quotable screenplays..scarface, wallstreet, conan..to his iconic and sometimes controversial filmography..hate him or love him (and yes his recent entries have been less than stellar) the man is one the greats..jfk might arguably be his best film (im more partial to nixon myself) this film is a force of nature..the twisting and conspiracy soaked plot, the wonderful photography from bob richardson, the AMAZING cast..i can go on and on..love the fuck outta this one

thought i would chime in on bats vs supes ..first off batfleck is not this films biggest problem..in fact hes kind of a badass..the messy story telling, the shoehorning in of other characters, and the liberties snyder is taking with these characters is its biggest problem..6/10

it's been a long while while since i've watched this brilliant movie but i did a re-watch recently and was once again reminded why i loved it in the first place..the sheer beauty of this movie..the photography, the costumes, locations..plus a great story of music, jealousy, and madness..def deserved the best picture oscar and i highly recommend it

damn I gotta get on Coward Robert Ford, every time I'm about to press play it's always so late and then I see the what, 3+ hour runtime (not saying that's a negative... just in terms of staying awake for that long is a hard task at such late times lol)

nice list!
