I miss the days when cgi/post-production work was so bad you could see the errors on the screen. Watching the old movies gives me nostalgia

I always check reviews when im iffy about seeing a movie, but all these mixed reviews of evil dead is scaring me
Don't let it, go for the gore and you won't be disappointed. This isn't the original, but there are several nods throughout the movie. Also, be sure to stay after credits for a nice surprise (especially if you are a big fan of the original movies!)
Some seem to really dig it and some seem to dislike it... the word definitely is mixed, but I still think it looks fun. Then again I have all along, if only for the gore. Still it's a movie I can definitely wait to see on blu. If you're really that iffy on it then I say just wait til it comes out on video rather than spending all the dough in the theatre
