THE GRAND, yep. It was a stopover on the way to Comic Con a few years ago, back when I wrote for another site. I actually ended up as an extra in the movie, although only a couple of quick scenes were in the finished cut. Still, Vegas.
I once had the pleasure of sitting in a Vegas hotel hallway (along with Woody Harrelson and Brett Ratner, of all people) listening to Werner Herzog tell stories about escaping death on numerous occasions, including Klaus Kinski trying to kill him. The guy is truly mesmerizing.
