I'm not really sure what "presence" means any more. If it means someone is a competent enough actor to sell a role to someone then, I agree, Adrien Brody is a great actor.
In terms of a role that requires someone to come off believable in a leading role that requires physicality like Predators, Brody has presence.
Channing Tatum has presence but is not a good actor. In fact, he's complete dog shit. If he were cast in the Brody role, my interest wouldn't be as piqued as it is.
It helps that Brody has talent as an actor.
I agree about Brody's presence in the trailer, and it certainly looks very promising. That said, I don't think Channing Tatum has talent OR presence. He was barely noticeable in G.I. Joe and he was the fucking LEAD ACTOR. Brody, on the other hand, is the MAN.
I agree about both actors.. If Tatum is cast as Captain America, I will be sorely disappointed, even though I don't have any sentimental attachment to the Cap
