Quinn, if you area fan of Carpenter's then I think you could reaally enjoy this. I am a huge Carpenter fan, and just loved this as a sequel,and the monsters were Awesome ! GOOD STUFF!
I agree the new The Thing was excellent. A little too much like the first one but still very entertaining. I don't know why so many people disliked it.
Ok, so I finally watched The THING and freakin LOVED IT ! And I was one of the skeptics on it just being a remake (which is why it took me so long to watch it) BUT, it answered all my questions. I went into the film wanting answers about The guy MCcready n Copper found with his throat cut and a straight razor in hand. Who was going to be the guy Gunning for the dog from a chopper at the beggining of Carpenters "The THING" and it answered all of those and very well IMO. And so they come up with the "blood sample" tests also,...eh, so what not too far fetched being a bunch of docters n scientists. They even showed how the stretched face alien came to be And Kates character was asked to stop torching it befor she should have. leaving it alive and to be found by Copper n MCcready,....LOVED IT !
