Review:
The word "overrated" is in itself "overrated" so I guess I'll say that I had higher expectations and it didn't deliver the same for me as it did for others. I enjoyed it and I appreciated the added drama of an Apatow style comedy but that's really all I got out of it. I wish I laughed more than I did and I wish we got more of the side characters together but it was still a solid movie and a good time (McCarthy was great, I bought Wiig/Rudolph's friendship and it was funny to see Rose Byrne as such a cunt).
I loved this movie the first time I saw it, but it didn't make me laugh as much the second time.
I was flipping channels in my hotel room and this was on. The wedding dress fitting scene is hilarious.
solid flick . Great performances , but didn't knock me on my ass either .
