Dear Fat Luggage,
I would love a copy of Total Recall. I promise to leave out the bong and a nice cold beer for you to enjoy. (Who needs milk and cookies?)

PS: Santa aint got shit on you!
Hah Nice! Now I think all of the copies that I sent made it to their new homes... I hope I didn't forget anyone.
'The Blind Side' getting a Best Picture nomination is all the proof you need they'll go back to five nominees next year. What an embarrassment.
It did open to other films such as District 9 and A Serious Man getting nominated as well though, I havn't The Blind Side so I can't really bash it, but the Academy's goal to get more populist noteworthy movies into the field actually worked.
That news really made me have a bad day at work today. I woke up, read that, and was pissed and yelled at everyone all day.
Increasing the Best Picture to ten nominees is horseshit, as far as I'm concerned. I never supported the decision, and I still don't. Films like THE BLIND SIDE (ugh), UP (great film), DISTRICT 9 (great film), and A SERIOUS MAN (fan-fucking-tastic film) may have received nominations, but would they have been nominated if the category consisted of the usual five spots? Hell no. It's a joke.
In other words, I agree. :D
Completely blown away by Tom Hardy in 'Bronson.' Holy shit was that a great performance.
100% agreed. Had minor issues with the flick but loved it on the whole. My life goal is to perfect that accent. And moustache.
Oh yes indeedy, that performance was one of the best of 09, and it's good to see that there are actors out there who are inspiring to Day-Lewis type performances (Hardy is a pretty big film geek so I guess that's why).
"DON'T FUCKIN MOVE!....and don't call the police...for 10 minutes."
Sorry ever since that South Park episode i think Goat, but she does look hippie hot in that photo.
Stevie was/is such a unique voice and I luv the whole Gypsy look that Fleetwood -Heart and Aerosmith.had in those years...Stevie use to look so ...mmmmm I saw Fleetwood Mac in Pittsburgh years and years ago-very rowdy crowd! All the times I saw bands like Cheap Trick- Pink Floyd-Aerosmith-Rush-Bowie and KIZZ for instance, their audience was no where near as bad and unruly as that night w/ Fleetwood Mac headlining.
Sam Worthington ... star of the biggest movie in history. Guess we better get used to it.
"John, what do you think of Worthington? I have not read/heard your opinion yet."
Kind of indifferent to the guy. Not sure why he's in so many huge movies all of a sudden, but like Riggs said, it could be worse. I thought he was incredibly bland in 'Terminator: Salvation,' but really effective in 'Avatar.' Different directors get different things out of him, I guess.
He also has the fortune of being in movies that would be massive whether he was in them or not. Who is going to see 'Clash of the Titans' because it's "a Sam Worthington movie"?
Moreno: "I hope everything he's in is 3D too."
I'm sure he will be, since before long now EVERY movie will be in 3D!
It could be like the advent of color, there'll be no going back. Who knows, 100 years from now 3D could be the norm for films just as 2D screens has been for the last century.
A dude's gotta love the composition and the subject matter. JoBlo.com reported today that the Avengers film has Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man definitely in the group. Dr. Pym and Wasp might appear, or not. Those two were essential to the Lee-Kirby text. But, the film would function with or without them. I wonder if Black Widow (from IM2) makes the movie. She is an Avenger. She might if Marvel can afford Johansson (or recast her). Sub-Mariner or Cage could make the cut. Film-makers keep promising us them on the big scene.
Watch this to get the LOST excitement going again! Marvelous piece of fan-editing!
I've got 3, 4, and 5 to finish off before I can even START thinking about this one

Haven't been this pumped for an NFC Championship game since my Lions made their one and surely only-ever appearance 19 years ago.
That's right ... the Lions. Next time you complain about your team, just remember the Lions have won exactly ONE play-off game in five decades.
Conan told us not to be cynical, but still ... you know what sucks? His Tonight Show stint will be relegated as a huge failure when it's actually the best it has been since Carson's prime. Last night's show was probably the last one I will ever watch in its entirety.
While it was light years better than Leno's Tonight Show, I think it was still a mere shadow of his former Late Night program. I missed those zany, off-the-wall comedy bits and crazy characters he used to be able to have at 12:35am. Wish he never left NY, his humor was better suited for that locale as opposed to LA.
Still, sucks to see him gone from TV(for now).
NBC = epic fail.
After a few viewings, 'The Ruins' really is a bad-ass little horror film. Wish they'd make more like it.
lol @ Cherry, I know exactly how you felt, I couldn't sleep the night after I watched it because of that.
Book is really great. The movie does an okay job, but it's really one of those cases where your imagination is much more passionate and vivid... Those scenes with the knife? Ughhhh....
I just watched it, I really dug it alot. Very original, which is a rare quality these days.
Too many sweet games, too little time. I probably won't get to this one till the summer =(
