so I guess I can say I am so very stoked once again to journey back to middle earth! had to throw in a few pics from the cartoon just because it looks like the movie will capture some of my favorite scenes to perfection!

after seeing Star Trek into Darkness a 2nd time but in IMAX 3D I noticed that this movie is essentially is a job application/resume for JJ Abrams bid for directing Star Wars VII because in seems, at least to me, a lot of the effects and city-scapes especially the in the 3rd act looked like updated set pieces from the star wars universe including the fight scene involving Spock.
Don't get me wrong it was a great movie (I love star trek and star wars equally) but I can see how his love of the original Star Wars influenced the look of Star Trek

Woody!! I like Leterrier but I'm not so sure about this movie... I like magic movies but only when they explore the tricks, and when the tricks actually seem possible... I hope they do that cause most of the 'tricks' in the trailers just look like straight up fantasy stuff
