Maybe the character of a gangster/gagster that never made it past the sixth grade was the perfect role for Vin Diesel but, regardless, he nailed the part. He shows a remarkable level and range of emotions. The story itself was riveting.

An extremely intelligent thriller that keeps you guessing the entire time. This cast just knocks it out of the park. The excessive shaky cam bits hurt this movie at times but not enough to knock it.

Tough subject matter but masterfully done. Oliver Stone holds back commentary and delivers a near masterpiece. This is Nic Cage’s best movie in years. The emotion, determination and bravery portrayed here are truly stuff of legend.

This movie had grit, heart, and pivotal action. It is a work of art/comic book pulp fiction rarely seen on the silver screen. The characters, effects, and story were all spectacular.
