This really shouldn't have gotten him banned from the festival. The guy's got a twisted sense of humor and he's obviously not being serious about being a nazi, so why ban an incredible filmmaker? I don't think he did anything wrong, he just can't communicate his thoughts as well through speaking as he can through film. Which resulted in this train wreck of an interview...
yeah I don't think it was that bad, it was just awkward and Kirsten's reactions are priceless.

I don't really like his films, but I think they were fairly harmless comments and people are super sensitive.
My favorite part of this is Kirsten Dunst's face... ;)
