I love the Batman: Brave and Bold version of Aquaman, he's like a salty old ship captain that likes to regale you with tales of his adventures at sea.

I've never had a problem with him. He was bad ass in the DCAU Justice League series. Cutting his own hand off to save his newborn son from boiling in hot lava is the definition of a dad's sacrifice.

Whats bad about Auquaman is that people keep looking at him as if he is still his borderline useless Super Friends counterpart

Peter David's run did a good job of making him cool and interesting but it's rare that creative teams do that.
