Chillin'Boston. Fucking horrible.
I remember, when 9/11 went down, my reaction was, "Well, I've had it with humanity."
But I was wrong. I don't know what's going to be revealed to be behind all of this mayhem. One human insect or a poisonous mass of broken sociopaths.
But here's what I DO know. If it's one person or a HUNDRED people, that number is not even a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a percent of the population on this planet. You watch the videos of the carnage and there are people running TOWARDS the destruction to help out. (Thanks FAKE Gallery founder and owner Paul Kozlowski for pointing this out to me). This is a giant planet and we're lucky to live on it but there are prices and penalties incurred for the daily miracle of existence. One of them is, every once in awhile, the wiring of a tiny sliver of the species gets snarled and they're pointed towards darkness.
But the vast majority stands against that darkness and, like white blood cells attacking a virus, they dilute and weaken and eventually wash away the evil doers and, more importantly, the damage they wreak. This is beyond religion or creed or nation. We would not be here if humanity were inherently evil. We'd have eaten ourselves alive long ago.
So when you spot violence, or bigotry, or intolerance or fear or just garden-variety misogyny, hatred or ignorance, just look it in the eye and think, "The good outnumber you, and we always will."

"No matter how long ago it was, there will always be someone to bring it all back. Because no matter what you do or think, one thing is for sure, you're always fucked. Now, tomorrow, next week or next year, until the end of time, fucked."
Chillin'Animal Rescue.^^^ I dropped you a comment about it. Tom Hardy, Matthias, Niaomi Rapace, Roskam. his first 'american" feature.

Chillin'

Chillin'KICKASS fucking double feature. My favorite of this year and last
I can vividly remember the day I became a Notre Dame fan. I was 12 years old over at a buddy's house for a saturday game of backyard football. We took a lunch break and watched the second half of the Notre Dame/Purdue game. With an offense that could not score a point the Irish won the game 24-17 thanks to three defensive touchdowns and improved on the season to 2-0. I was hooked. The team would finish with a 10-3 record but a win @ Florida State was the first BIG football game I was part of. Sure I had watched and played football for years up to that but that game was the first that mattered. Since that year ND has had up and down seasons, more down, and a rival (USC) dominate for years not only against us but on the championship scene definitely didn't help morale. But all that is mute now. Brian Kelly being hired got me insanely excited (the guy took Cincinnati to a BCS bowl for god's sake) and now in his third year he has guided the Irish through a schedule that in the preseason most analysts said if they could win 8 games it would be amazing. Months later Notre Dame is 12-0 coming off a win in The Coliseum over USC and heading to the BCS National Championship. Bring on the SEC. Shake Down the Thunder. GO Irish!
HappyIt's a tough pill to swallow (USC Fan) But congratulations on that.
Appreciate it man. Wittek looks like he can be another solid Trojan QB. Dude has a cannon.
1-0 and projected to win this week...even though I deserve to lose for my choice of QB:
QB-Jay Cutler (6 points on thurs)
RB1-Arian Foster vs. JAC
RB2-Ahmad Bradshaw vs. TB
WR1-Andre Johnson vs. JAC
WR2-Roddy White vs. DEN
WR3-Brandon Lloyd vs. ARI
TE-Jimmy Graham vs. CAR
K-David Akers vs. DET
DEF-Cincinnati vs. CLE
Chillin'Got a pretty tough matchup right away but here is who I'm starting:
QB-Philip Rivers vs. OAK
RB1-Arian Foster vs. MIA
RB2-Ahmad Bradshaw (15 points on wed)
WR1-Andre Johnson vs. MIA
WR2-Roddy White vs. KC
WR3-Brandon Lloyd vs. TEN
TE-Jimmy Graham vs. WAS
K-David Akers vs. GB
DEF-Buffalo vs. NYJ

With Ex 2 coming out on Friday I feel like this week has to be about badass action flicks starring the boys themselves with the menu including:
T2
First Blood
Rambo
Romeo Must Die
Universal Soldier
Missing in Action
Die Hard
Crank
The Expendables (both cuts)
Chillin'
I always get pretty interested in the Olympics especially the men's basketball as I love seeing some of our best team up and this year's team is no exception as it was just announced:
LeBron James
Kevin Durant
Kobe Bryant
Carmelo Anthony
Chris Paul
Deron Williams
Blake Griffin
Russell Westbrook
James Harden
Andre Igoudala
Tyson Chandler
Kevin Love
Chillin'They could really have used Howard, Rose and Wade if they weren't injured...
^ I think the only one they're truly missing out on is Dwight Howard because we're at a serious disadvantage in the size department. Aside from Tyson Chandler we don't have another true center, Blake isn't polished enough and Kevin Love is more of a rebounder/finesse power forward.
we could have used Howard but with more of the International teams having athletic, jump shooting big men I think we will be ok
Last Stand (Jan 18) Kim Jee-Woon with Arnold making a "last stand" before an escaped Mexican drug lord makes it across the border.
Carrie (March 15) Chloe Moretz as Carrie. I'm there.
Oblivion (April 26) Tom Cruise vs. Aliens
Iron Man 3 (May 3) Self explanatory.
Untitled Star Trek Sequel (May 17) Cumberbatch as the villain yo.
Man of Steel (June 14) There is so much to like about this movie on paper but the big plus for me is Michael Shannon as Gen. Zod.
Pacific Rim (July 12) Solid cast, interesting premise and del Toro.
The Wolverine (July 26) Interested to see how Mangold does
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (October 4) I've been ready for this sequel since 2005
Thor 2 (November 8) The director has directed episodes of GoT, Mad Men, Oz, Homicide: Life on the Street, The Sopranos and others. Now he is directing a Thor movie. Just take all the money.
The Hobbit: There and Back Again (December 13) Self explanatory.
Chillin'@Desh - same here and as for Thor 2... I was sold when a director of BOARDWALK EMPIRE and THE SOPRANOS was hired, damn!
Love 'em!
