Console Controller Question

To the gamer folk out there. I have a PS3 and the #1 reason I don't play it is I HATE THE FUCKING CONTROLLER WITH A PASSION. Basic games are fine, but if I'm gonna be doing any FPS/TPS I love my 360 controller. What I want to know is, I recently found out there are adapters out there that allow you to play any controller on your console. Do any of you use one and if so which one?

PS3 controller is such shit. It is soo light and feels like a toy. 360 controller is such a beast. There are some alternatives on amazon if you look around.

I think the DualShock is great, and prefer it to the Xbox controller. I have no problem using it with shooters either, but I think it's all what you are used to and like raz I've been using DualShock controllers forever, since the PS1 days. I don't mind the Xbox controller, but I find it clunkier and harder to use over here haha. It's all what you are used to I guess.

I'd say try this if you want to use your 360 controller on your PS3... http://www.amazon.com/Cross-Battle-adapter-RUMBLE-Xbox-360/dp/B001O89YTU there are others but although I haven't really paid much attention to the issue, that's the one I've heard talked about a few times now

I've seen them at Frys for $11.99 before. Sometimes even as low as $9.99, but that was a while ago so I don't know if those prices would still be the same. Other than that I would check Amazon and Ebay.
