I saw an advanced screening of This Is the End. The film was funny, stupid, messed up and full of actors having fun playing a loose interpretation of themselves and having a blast doing so. This film isn't for everyone, but I had a great time with it

I loved this film the first time I saw it when it was called Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Midnight Run, and to a much lesser effect Due Date. Identity Thief doesn't really know what it wants to be a road trip movie a heist film or and actio...

Celeste and Jesse Forever

reviewed on March 3rd, 2013 05:27PM

Romantic comedies these days all seem to be the same with not really a whole lot to say or add to the medium. Celeste and Jesse Forever thankfully is not that kind of movie and its a breath of fresh air to see something new. Rashida Jones not ...

Zero Dark Thirty tells the story of decade long manhunt for the terrorist responsible for the attacks on 9/11. Though the film is long and the pace is slow the journey is well worth it for the last thirty of so minutes of the film. Katheryn Big...

Spider-Man

Spider-Man pretty much cemented the fact that superhero films could be not only good but smart. The summer of 2002 saw Spider-Man make a lot of money and help usher the comic book movie take over at the box office. I was very excited for t...

It seems like there are raunchy rated R comedies coming out every other week it seem. A Good Old Fashioned Orgy is amongst them, but it lacks the raunch and wit that made films like The Hangover, Bridesmaids, and Knocked up so successful. A Go...
