has to choose between two screenings tonight: SHUTTER ISLAND or BROOKLYN'S FINEST w/ special guest Wesley Snipes. Obviously the first is the better movie, but I would like to tell Wesley Snipes that I've always bet on black.
I know SI is the probably the better movie but I don't think you can pass up the opportunity to see a free movie and meet one of its stars. Plus BF is my most anticipated movie of the year (not that that means anything to you). But whichever one you choose, let us know how they are.
D.C. traffic was gridlocked thanks to all the snow, so I couldn't make it across town to see BROOKLYN'S FINEST. Shame cuz I was ready to ask Snipes to sign my copy of TO WONG FOO. Wait, I don't own that movie...
Did see SHUTTER ISLAND which was playing down the street. It was pretty good. Didn't expect something like that from Scorcese. Almost had a Kubrick-SHINING vibe to it.
Word. I saw it earlier today at Mazza Gallerie. I really liked it. I get The Shining ideas from it but it was more of a crossection of that and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and Silence of The Lambs.

dude... that's a choice that's not really a choice. that's the daywalker. and you might get the chance to ask him about his almost role in Expendables
