Watching Paranormal Activity by myself. I live in a high-rise building downtown with a big courtyard in the middle outside my living room window. And I swear on my mother's life, every time something freaky and loud happens in the movie, I hear a loud ass noise coming from the courtyard. WTF?! This movie is messing with me.
Some parts were a bit freaky, but that may be because of the mood I was in. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for a scare, and I think I force myself to get "involved" in otherwise tame movies. But overall, a disappointing film.
SM is correct, just like House of 1000 Corpses, this is a steaming pile of hypey bullshit.
If you want scary get Session 9 or check out the original REC...
Eh, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I definitely don't get the hype. I'll have to check out those flicks.
