Watching Paranormal Activity by myself. I live in a high-rise building downtown with a big courtyard in the middle outside my living room window. And I swear on my mother's life, every time something freaky and loud happens in the movie, I hear a loud ass noise coming from the courtyard. WTF?! This movie is messing with me.

Some parts were a bit freaky, but that may be because of the mood I was in. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for a scare, and I think I force myself to get "involved" in otherwise tame movies. But overall, a disappointing film.

Stayed up crazy late to watch Moon...totally worth it. Sam Rockwell was incredible. Unfortunately, now I am super tired. So tired that I can't remember if I actually did anything in the shower this morning. I think just kind of stood there.

After a boring night free of responsibilities, my wife waits until right before I'm about to go to bed to tell me I got a new Netflix in the mail. It was Moon, which I haven't seen yet. Now I have to wait until Saturday to watch it, due to a busy week. Sad face.

So Avatar beat TDK this weekend, and is only $48 mil away from Titanic domestically. Insane. And for all you "adjusted for inflation" goons out there, it's currently at #26 on that list, and will likely crack the top 15 by the end of its run. Considering the lack of competition back in the day (people had practically nothing else to do) that's pretty damn impressive.
