Covenant was an amazing, worthy sequel (prequel?). The only thing I'd complain about is a certain cameo that took me out of the movie considering Danny is also in the movie. I couldn't take it seriously because for a second my brain had an almost Pavlovian reaction and I thought I was watching a comedy. I automatically went into comedy mode. I kept betting Danny got him the part. Anyway if you've seen the movie message me. I've got a question Google can't answer.

Thank you for the brief Alien: Covenant review.

So I had a dream this morning that I was watching True Detective Season 3 and that Benicio Del Toro was starring in it by himself as a hardened street detective with a dark past who straddled the line of corruption and honor. He was no saint but a true... detective. He was the only big name and it was fucking AMAZING! Best season yet!

I'd watch that

So... I've got a theory. Considering Logan exists AS A FILM in Deadpool's universe... Does that mean that the events depicted didn't actually transpire? Just sayin'. Food for thought. Epic FUCKIN' movie btw!

But X-Men comics exist in Logan. What if all continuity problems are because they are all fictional works in each other's universes?

What's the 70's/80's horror movie about a guy that worked at a movie studio in Hollywood as like an editor and he's obsessed with movies and James Cagney and he snaps and starts killing people?

Fade to Black?

So is this "Frequency" TV show a sequel series, a reboot series? Some of the characters have the same names, same last names, even same nicknames. I'm so confused. What the f*ck is this? Is it an alternate time reality to the movie or alternate universe? What is going on? I am lost.

It's a television show inspired by the film, like the new "Lethal Weapon" show.

Might be late but better late than never... Any classic horror recommendations MFC? No campy stuff. I wanna watch something that'll disturb me. Never saw the original Texas Chainsaw. Is that a good start? Any other suggestions. Thanks MFC family. Missed you guys a bunch.

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre might well be a good start. Give it a watch.

Texas Chainsaw may do the job. Black Christmas is another disturbing gem.

Ok so... For the record... I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to like Suicide Squad. But... DC dropped the ball once again. Where do I begin? The music was tiresome, the CGI was atrocious and horrid, and Joker was annoying. It honestly really felt like he was doing an impression of Heath. Like his voice was straight ripped from TDK. I was really hoping Jared would put his own spin on it. I had high hopes for Leto. I was hoping he'd do his own Cagney thing. In the end he was just more annoying than anything. I will say that movie's only saving grace was Harley Quinn. I give it a 6/10. And that's fair.

I gave it a 6/10 as well but for totally different reasons, I actually liked joker and wished they hadn't undersused him like they did, I also thought they should have brought the whole Joker/Harley relationship to the forefront instead of Rick Flag and Enchantress' storyline, among other things...

Holy fuck! The Rogue One cast is amazing! You got Ben "The Motherfuckin' Phenom" Mendelsohn?! Plus everyone else?! I think it might be one of the best Star Wars yet! I'd dare to say better than TFA and the prequels combined.

I have a question for the Trekkies... Disclaimer: Forgive my ignorance; my only familiarity with Star Trek is the new film franchise and vaguely remembering watching episodes of Next Generation and Voyager with my pops. Now... My question is... Considering DS9 was so popular amongst fans and considered one of, if not the best in the series, how come no films came out featuring the DS9 crew? Any particular reasons? I'd like to know from someone who would know.

Great question, but I don't know the answer to this either. DS9 to me was a better watch than NG, IMO.

JohnLocke2342

Probably because at the time Deep Space 9 was airing they were making their movies with the Next Generation crew. By the time they finished that up in 2002 the audience soured so badly on Star Trek that they went for the reboot of the original series.

It's a shame that DS9 is so forgotten though. People even put it behind Voyager and never give it the respect it deserves. It was a really great Star Trek series.

5 minutes in and I knew I would love Short Term 12. Wish I saw it sooner. Better late than never I guess.

5 min. into Short Term 12 and I feel overwhelmingly compelled to write this... I am glad that films like this still get made and receive the praise they rightfully deserve. It gives me hope for the art and industry. Keep film alive, let's slowly start to kill off the blockbusters and franchises. There are still stories to be told. No need for reboots.
