This sequel has all the ingredients of a horror sequel: more backstory, another psychic link with the monster, a bigger body count, and more of the monster. However, it wasn't as exciting as it coul've been even with improved special effects and an awesome Cpt. Ahab-Moby Dick moment between Ray Wise and The Creeper. Nothing much to say but a football team with the smallest group of cheerleaders ever going back home after winning a championship game get a blown tire and are hunted by The Creeper. Other than the scenes with The Creeper, the movie wasn't that interesting and most of the kids were uninteresting or just plain unlikable.
Plot (5/10): Should've focused on Ray Wise instead.
Acting (5/10): Ray Wise was good in the movie as the father wanting revenge for the death of his young son. Justin Long makes an appearance but nothing special. Nicki Aycox didn't do much and the guys were there to take off their shirts and bitch at each other.
Gore (4/10): Barely any at all.
Direction (5/10): The scenes with The Creeper were great to watch.
Eye Candy (6/10): Nicki Aycox is a cutie.
Overall, a dissapointing sequel with some cool scenes but don't really bother.

I like the first half of the first one better because there was real suspense and mystery. THe second one was blah because it was all about action. I wrote a blog about The Creeper a couple of months ago
