#2 Death Wish! The first one is especially commendable American cinema. Hopefully, the remake re-presents some of the moral dilemmas presented in the first film. Like Paul Kersey in 1974, Americans must again ponder whether violence solves social ills.

Alien 3 is solid ending to the trilogy and it's the 4th one that really was an abortion of the franchise. I also thought that as mediocre as Blade: Trinity was, I still had a fun time with it and I never thought it did anything damaging to the first 2.

Pretty solid list man, even the ones that I wasn't impressed with are not necessarily bad films, far from it. I heard a lot of crap for the American, surprised to see it here.

For the record, I don't consider any of the films on this list as "great." For one reason or another though, I kind of liked them.

Yeah, Clash of the Titans was dumb but its nowhere near as bad as the junk that made my 25 Worst Films list.

The original John Carpenter film is an untouchable masterpiece. It is definitely the best film of the series. However, I've always really liked the first sequel. Its a darker film, and also has more gore and action. The soundtrack is more synthesized and evil sounding, I prefer it to the first film's score. Dick Warlock is excellent as the Shape, and I liked the beat-up/bloodied look Michael Myers had in this film.
