Alright, alright, people calm down. This is Nolan's world. What doesn't make sense to us now makes sense to him. We always do this and we'll eat our words later. No other filmmaker has proven that more than Nolan, and no other film proved that to me more than "Batman Begins". I was excited when I first he was hired to direct...but then I started seeing pictures. The ears were wrong, the batmobile wasn't even black (at the time), and why the hell would you do a reboot when you could just do Batman 5? You know what? I was wrong and happy that I was. Then we do "Dark Knight", and Heath Ledger was cast (I wanted Hugo Weaving after seeing V For Vendetta), but I reserved judgement and trusted Nolan because I was proven wrong on "Begins". And after "The Prestige" (underrated mind you, one of the best and geek-euphoric casts ever) and now "Inception", Ima sit back and let Nolan do what he's doing. I could be wrong, I could eat my words in July '12, but no other filmmaker has excelled at def...

um.....I just got back from Harry Potter and there was no Dark Knight Rises trailer. WTF

Has there been ANYTHING yet news wise on when the extended King Kong (2005) set with bonus features, etc., is coming out on Blu-Ray?

POTC was a huge success. It's obviously the least that any of the sequels have earned first weekend, but seriously, how many #4's rack up that much?

HP7 was great but could have seriously used an editing during the middle.

just finished of Battlestar Galactica. Taking a break, moving onto Superman/Batman: Apocalypse before starting over and all X-Files from start to finish. As great as the animated movie is, I have the original comics, it's wrong that DC/Warner Bros. did not include some sort of tribute to Michael Turner since he passed away not long after S/B: A comics were published. I guess it was some stupid corporate decision, but since the film totally takes his style and look, they should acknowledge and pay respects. I'm just saying....

Saw the Social Network last night before it totally left theaters. I knew it'd be good but I had no idea how it was going to be. Loved it.

Just finished Galactica S2, beginning S3 and I'm in the biggest WTF since Lost. Not quite the WTFness of LOST's consistency but the closest, which is the highest compliment I can give to any show. Fucking good show.
