I am the harshest critic of art direction and visual designs in a movie...
But, if they had a problem with the look of the costumes & sets......really, what the fuck movie were THEY watching?!
No idea Yoshio. No idea. Reading some of the reviews I almost feel that they slammed it......well.....simply to slam it.
I'm with you man, that movie was fucking awesome! And yes, Hiddleston was amazing, but I gotta say so was Hemsworth. He FUCKING NAILED the role of Thor.
I couldn't agree more. There were a bunch of fun references in there. A++++
The invisible juggling was hilarious! Did you notice at the part when Ferrell came back from the hospital that one of them made a mistake and called him Michael?
YES! hahahahaha. and Jim broke character, started giggling and looked down right before the final cut away.
Good for you having the patience to deal with someone like that...I couldn't
I wouldn't really call it patience. At least this time....I was definitely defending my position, but you know how it goes, with close minded people, no matter the thought you put in front of them. You are wrong, period.
Really?
Looks the most fun since the first one to be quite honest, now that they got rid of the dead weight of Bloom & Knightley.
Its not necessarily the story I'm butting heads with. The cast is great. Its the direction. I'm not sure Marshall was a good choice for a high scale adventure movie. It just looks flat out boring. I mean that little clip of Sparrow escaping seemed to almost move in slow motion. It doesn't look funny either, and that is why I loved Sparrow in the first three. Hopefully they are being smart and not showing all of the "best" footage now.

Zimmer did the score for this??? I thought it sounded like his work.
