Been going through some of the reviews of Thor. Criticisms range from "crummy costume and set design, to "needs a more charismatic lead" to "a monumental waste of top tier talent". What in the fuck are these people talking about? It never ceases to amaze me the always differing of opinions.
I am the harshest critic of art direction and visual designs in a movie...
But, if they had a problem with the look of the costumes & sets......really, what the fuck movie were THEY watching?!

Fucking dug THOR! I am so relieved that it was super fun, actually really funny and HOLY SHIT did I love Tom Hiddleston as Loki. He fucking destroyed that role.
I'm with you man, that movie was fucking awesome! And yes, Hiddleston was amazing, but I gotta say so was Hemsworth. He FUCKING NAILED the role of Thor.

Looks the most fun since the first one to be quite honest, now that they got rid of the dead weight of Bloom & Knightley.
Its not necessarily the story I'm butting heads with. The cast is great. Its the direction. I'm not sure Marshall was a good choice for a high scale adventure movie. It just looks flat out boring. I mean that little clip of Sparrow escaping seemed to almost move in slow motion. It doesn't look funny either, and that is why I loved Sparrow in the first three. Hopefully they are being smart and not showing all of the "best" footage now.
Zimmer did the score for this??? I thought it sounded like his work.
