Finally checked out the gay-romance film, Weekend on netflick instant. The film was wonderful. There are not too many good "gay" romance films out there, but this one is hands down one of the best ones out there (sorry, but I wasn't a fan of Brokeback Mountain. It was okay). The actors were both fantastic and likable...and they LOOKED and acted like real everyday men. They weren't the stereotypical gay men the media portrays, which was such a sigh of relief for me! I have nothing against feminine gay men (I admit I'm not the most masculine person out there), but not EVERY gay man is one. The relationship was depicted very realistically and even somewhat romantically. The film just felt quite real. Verdict 8 bordering on a 9...so I'll go with an 8.5 for now.

There was word they were making Stephen King's It into a movie (it technically hasn't been made into a movie yet; only a TV mini-series)...but then all word just disappeared. I wonder if that is still happening.

Warning: there is a bit of male nudity and some gay sex scenes, so if that is not your thing, you may not want to watch. ;)
