Well the Mothers Day fondue didn't work out but even better were going tonight for my "baby's" 23rd birthday today! I keep thinking the place will be busy again since its a holiday but I guess my son's birthday probably won't draw crowds of strangers. ;) So, cheese and chocolate, here I come! Kind of melancholy seems like yesterday I showed up at the hospital with my little bag for my planned C-section appt to have my baby, lol. Time moves too fast.

My favorite part of Mister Rogers was when they took the little trolley to the make believe kingdom.

Thanks!

Anakin, your friend is right, not a happy ending, and in fact the entire movie is sad. Not the type I typically like at all, but I do love it somehow. The acting is fantastic , the story compelling, and it has some of my favorite actors. James McAvoy and Keira Knightly among others. I never recommend it to anybody though as I'm afraid they'll hate it.

Raging - I agree, Casino is great!

# Concert Memories # (favorites in order of year if I remember)

1. 1976 Eagles with my parents. I was 12
2. 1980 Queen "The Game"
3. 1881 Ozzy Osbourne "Blizzard of Ozz"
4. 1981 The Rolling Stones , Tempe Sun Devil Stadium. $19 I still remember as that was a hefty price back then. Bad seats, Mick looked like a pencil with arms from where I sat. No big screens back then. Awesome though!
5. 1981 Genesis
6. 1982 "The Who" - opener John Cougar. Somebody from the crowd threw a bottle at John's head, and he fell off a platform he was standing on. Had to get a bunch of stitches back stage and he came back out and finished, bandaged up.
7. 1981-1982 REO Speedwagon, Journey, Asia and Styx but can't remember details
8. 1985 Aerosmith "Done With Mirrors"
9. These were my favorites, but we went to a few more as we tended to go to everybody who came to town in early 80s. Wanted to see Van Halen but was gone when they came to town. Later I wanted to see Bon Jovi and then later Guns n Roses with Metallica, but was a mom by those days and my concert days curtailed. ;)

Thanks! I'll check out the Girl Gone Wild

If she's dancing and singing like the old days, I'm all for it. Her voice is still strong.

ETA: I just watched it and I'm surprised how much I did really like it since it's recent! She did a great job. Fun video.

2.!!!! Still in their COOL years.
4.!!!!!! gr8 Tour -still in their cool period.
I had Stones tix twice and sold them at a nice profit years ago. Steel Wheels Tour '89 I should have followed through with.

Glinda
Glinda at 01:48 PM Dec 30

Good times Doc. Good memories, although some are fuzzy so long ago now I was so young. Wow that's cool you were able to sell those Stones tickets for a nice profit. I know that soon after I saw them, those prices skyrocketed! Eh, I know what you mean looking back and wishing you had followed through on the one concert, but we do things for a reason and at the time I'm sure that money was really really nice to have. :)

I love Cinderella not just for the story, but the adorable mice are really funny and a pretty big part of the story. The nasty cat Lucifer just makes that movie too. Lucifer aptly named, mind you. He's hilariously evil.
