Ben Affleck made a better movie out of a Dennis Lehane book than Martin Scorcese. Nuts.

GINOPAGS'S LATEST ACTIVITY
Juno is a solid movie (maybe not in a best picture way)... and much better than Reitman's Up in the Air (which is better than Blindside, but still not best picture worthy).
You know how I know you're gay? You loved Avatar.
Just a quick reminder, The Dark Knight sucks. See for yourself. Cheers.
Kirsten Dunst was perfectly cast/wasted as MJ.
She got strung out. I read an interview with her where she said she feels obligated to keep working all the time (regardless of the project) because she supports her entire family, sending her brother to college, etc. She's one that people forget started as a child actress, doesn't know how to do anything else and wasn't given the option of a "normal" life growing up.
How the f*ck do you love AVATAR?
i wont lie but i really enjoyed Avatar ,best film of the year not a chance. What i'm still trying to work out is how this Sam Worthington gets all these plum roles, did he sell his soul or something.
Woody Allen to direct the Spider-man Reboot!!!
Bruce Willis sings pretty well!

Lovely Bones is a mess of a movie... has some great parts/moments but overall, yeesh.
It's so sad I keep hearing that. I'm still gonna check it out, but now my expectations are so low that I'll probably end up liking it.
Vampire Weekend album is growing on me (after4 listens). Love this song/video...

Avatar is a bland and unoriginal story. The effects are impressive but still not quite there, and the design of this "world" (basically shitty looking variations of humans and animals) doesn't help one bit.
My Top 20 Films of 2009

Fuck me, "serviceable" is the WORD OF THE DAY on JoBlo, having been used in 3 out of 4 reviews posted. Jimmy O's Invictus, and Arrow and Chris's Avatar reviews.

I liked Juno a lot more than Up in the Air too.
