According to SyFy Wire the Westboro Baptist Church, the infamous church that picket dead soldiers funerals, are now going to protest at Comic-Con this year. They say that comic books promote idol worship or some shit like that. God those people really give people of the Christian faith a bad name and I dont consider myself religious.
That's usually what cults do. Westboro is less of a church, more of a business. Their entire congregation is made up of lawyers. The only reason they do things like this is for media attention. I don't really buy that they're sincere in what they believe, they're just trying to piss people off. I called them once to ask a few theological questions and all they did was curse me out and hang up on me.
If I'm not mistaken, these are the same folks that protested Heath Ledger's funeral because of Brokeback Mountain, they also picket at the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq. Whether it is strictly for media attention or not, it is beyond sick and disrespectful. Very fucking sad.
Even if these people are just doing it for media attention or whatever I personally thin they are the lowest form of scum ever for doing that shit a soldiers funerals.
Has any one watched Louis Theroux doco called The most hated family in America,he went inside the church and showed a bunch of basically nice people that were deluded and under the control of one of the most hateful evil bitter cunts on this planet. When i watched it my blood boiled at the shit that were coming out of their mouth and using children in their protests(which is a pet hate regardless if i agree or disagree with a cause).
I'm of Catholic faith but I think these people are fucking psychopaths. Fred Phelps and his whole crew are complete psychos...
I watched a CNN documentary about these people a few years ago, and needless to say, I was shocked by what I saw and heard. These people are fucking evil and insane. They don't believe in God, they only believe in hate. Crazy people like them give those who believe in God, who are religious or moderately religious, a terrible name, which isn't fair.
I'm attending the Comic-Con this year. It should be interesting, to say the least. Maybe some attendees will kick their asses! ;)

Seriously?!!!!!
