Little to no Shockwave in Transformers 3
When I heard that Shcokwave was gonna be in Transformers 3, I was hyped. Even though I never watched the cartoon, I knew damn well who Shockwave was. And the way the marketing built him up, I thought he was gonna be the baddest Decepticon since Megatron. So, when I saw him at Chernobyl, I was ready for the badass of the trilogy to make his appearence.
But NO! Shockwave was tossed to the side like a bitch. The way the marketing built him up, I thought he was gonna be the Joker of the Decepticons. The one who was ruthless and brutal and took no prisoners. I mean, look at the trailers! He's billed above Sentinel Prime and even above Megatron. And this is MEGATRON we're talking about!
I think he only had one line and that worm thing was hardly explained. Just like Venom in Spider-Man 3, Shockwave was one of the biggest wasted oppurtunity villains ever.
